The phone is still where most new patients decide whether to book with you, and they decide before anybody has said a word. Everything below is about that moment.
Where calls land, who they roll to, and what happens when nobody picks up are decisions about how your office runs, so you make them. We sit down with the person who answers the phone all day, because they already know where the current system falls short.
A lot of practices would rather a caller reach a person than work through a menu first. If that is what you want, it is a setting, and we will set it up that way.
Desk phones at the front and in the private office. Cordless handsets where somebody needs to answer while walking. A softphone on a laptop for whoever takes calls from home. Extensions can follow a person to their mobile so a doctor is reachable without publishing a personal number.
Your number ports over. It is printed on every card, sign, and referral pad you have, and there is no version of this project where you lose it. Porting is scheduled and coordinated with the old carrier so the switch happens outside office hours, when you are closed and nobody is calling.
When a hosted phone system sounds bad, the network is usually the reason. Voice traffic is unforgiving about the same congestion that everything else on your network tolerates quietly. We prioritize voice on the switches and check the connection before the phones go in, because we work on the network too.
We install the network and the phones, so one company is responsible for how a call sounds. If something is wrong, you make one call, and we work out whether it is the phones, the switches, or the internet connection.
We are based in Katy and install phone systems for practices across greater Houston and southeast Texas, from Sugar Land and Richmond to League City, Baytown, and The Woodlands.
